Murat Coşkun and Beatriz Picas share a great passion: they create music between worlds and styles. The combination of world percussion, cello and voice offers the best conditions for this: singing with the cello, drumming with the voice, making the percussion cry and laugh, Coşkun and Picas seem to be one with their instruments and breathe their own life into their compositions. Their light-footed and refreshing duo program is the result of intensive exchange and many phases of joint experimentation.

Both always impress with their authenticity and liveliness when they delve into musical dialogues. Their shared Turkish and Portuguese roots can be sensed as the sounding board of their compositions, and one sometimes feels as if one can sense the melancholy from the sea or the exuberance of the soul from the mountains.
